The Tamaskan Heritage Database is record of Tamaskan genetic history. This database aims to record as far backwards in the Tamaskan breed as there are records (back to foundation dogs of the breeds that make up the Tamaskan Dog).
The second and equally important feature of this breed database is the tracking of all health issues. The Tamaskan Heritage Database is open to all breeders of Tamaskan dogs regardless of registry for the betterment of the Tamaskan breed. For a breeder to gain access to the database, the breeder must agree to contribute to the project by reporting information on their litters and all known health testing, health issues or other known genetic information (such as info from DNA panel testing that is relevant to the breed). Breeders must also agree that the use of the information found in this database is strictly for litter planning, and must never be used against another breeder in a harmful way.
